STEPP Marking Classified Information Practice Exam

The marking //NR indicates NATO RESTRICTED classification within NATO's data classification system. This classification is used for information that, if disclosed, could have a negative impact on NATO's interests or operations but is not expected to cause significant harm. The use of the term "RESTRICTED" signifies that access to this information is limited to authorized individuals who require it for their work, ensuring that sensitive information is adequately protected while still permitting necessary dissemination to those who need it. Understanding this hierarchy of classification is crucial, as it helps maintain the security and integrity of NATO operations and information management.
